Eligibility Requirements

AutomotiveGo provides assistance to households experiencing financial hardship when the loss of reliable transportation creates a material threat to household stability.

You may qualify if losing reliable transportation would significantly disrupt one or more of the following:

Employment & Income Stability
You depend on transportation to maintain employment or preserve essential income.

Necessary Healthcare
You need reliable transportation to access essential medical care, treatment, or services.

Dependent Care
Transportation is essential to meeting responsibilities for children or other dependents.

Housing & Essential Living Needs
You need reliable transportation to maintain housing or meet essential household needs.

You’ll also need to meet these requirements:

Residency
Applicants must currently live in Delaware County, Ohio.

Vehicle Ownership
The applicant must own the vehicle needing repair. The vehicle must be registered in the applicant’s name and verification of ownership may be required.

Verification
Applicants may be asked to provide documentation verifying income, residency, and vehicle ownership.

Program Limitations
Assistance is subject to available funding and program capacity, and not all repair requests can be approved.
